Both programs set to launch in October

The MBA program will be called "MBA@American," and Kogod anticipates offering concentrations in marketing, finance, international business, IT analytics, and consulting/entrepreneurship.

In addition to the online MBA, Kogod will also be offering a Master of Science program in Analytics, which will feature concentrations in business policy, healthcare, and financial and marketing analytics.

Both programs will require students to complete two in-person residency classes on either Kogod's Washington, DC campus or in another location globally.

Both programs are expected to begin in October, 2015.

The announcement was made through a press release posted by 2U, the online learning platform that partnered with Kogod to deliver the new online programs. For more information, please see the American University - Kogod School of Business website.
