The University of North Carolina at Pembroke Broadens MBA Program Options

Students can now pursue the school's AACSB-accredited MBA program entirely online

The University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP) has announced several changes to its MBA program.

Firstly, beginning in 2015, students will be able to pursue the MBA program entirely online.

Previously, the program could only be completed in either a classroom format or a hybrid format, which featured some online courses. Now, students have the opportunity of completing the entire program completely online. In any of the formats, the program can be completed in two years.

The school will also launch a five-year MBA option for undergraduate business majors with a GPA of 3.2 or better. This will allow undergraduate business students in their junior year to enroll directly into the MBA program.

Additionally, beginning in 2015, UNCP will offer its core MBA courses at Sandhills Community College in Pinehurst, which is about an hour away from Pembroke by car.

And finally, the school will begin offering MBA concentrations in supply chain management and financial services. Each concentration will consist of four additional courses.

UNCP's MBA program is accredited by AACSB International.
