James Madison to Offer an MBA with a Concentration in Leadership

Program to launch this fall, can be completed in 28 months

James Madison University has announced that, beginning this fall, it will launch a new MBA program that has a focus on leadership.

Students who pursue the new program "will develop the knowledge, skills, and tools required to successfully lead through change," according to a statement from the school.

The program will be delivered in a hybrid format, with classes being delivered in a synchronous, online format, along with a limited number of Saturday residency sessions in the Northern Virginia area. It's designed for mid-level managers with a minimum of five to ten years of work experience.

The MBA in leadership can be completed in 28 months. No immediate details were available concerning the program's curriculum.

James Madison University's College of Business is accredited by AACSB and, besides the new program, offers hybrid MBAs focused in information security and innovation. The online components of the school's MBA programs are delivered synchronously, meaning that classes meet in real time over the internet.
