IU - Kelley, Temple - Fox, and UNC - Kenan-Flagler tie for first place

US News & World Report has published its first online MBA ranking.

Three schools are tied for the top spot in the ranking: Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, Temple University's Fox School of Business, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler Business School.

Arizona State University's Carey School of Business and the University of Florida's Hough Graduate School of Business tie for the ranking's fourth spot. Place number six belongs to the University of Texas at Dallas, while Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business and Pennsylvania State University share the seventh spot.

The ranking's top ten is rounded out by North Carolina State University's Jenkins Graduate School of Management, which ranks number nine, and Auburn University and the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire, which are tied for the tenth position.

US News and World Report ranked the online MBA programs based on five factors: student engagement, admissions selectivity, peer reputation, faculty credentials and training, and student services and technology. The ranking, unlike the Online MBA Ranking from the Financial Times, does not take into account post-MBA salary growth. US News' ranking lists almost 200 US-based business schools.
