Hello everyone,
There are online MBA programs from Michigan Ross, Carnegie Mellon Tepper and other famous business schools that cost over $120-130k.
Is it worth paying $100k more comparing to online MBA programs from Illinois Gies or Boston University (with the $24k price tag) that everyone seems to like and recommend on this forum?
How can you justify the price? Is it because of their much superior faculty or network you're paying for? Or just school name?

Compare the Ross MBA experience with BU or UIUC, and then look at https://poetsandquants.com/2023/11/27/ranking-poetsquants-best-online-mba-programs-2024/
These courses all follow the core curriculum. However, there's a huge added value in the course design, the programs' selectivity, and the resources of a richer school with more pull in the business community. The outcomes will be very different.
