I understand Duncan, you think that there is a big difference between online/blended and on campus programs, underlining the importance of the contacts when somebody wants to enter in a working market. I analyzed the Bocconi and the Mip offers: the EEMS is 50% face to face. The others, which are executive programs, require at least 70-75 days over 20 months. It is not possible for me to apply for them. Italy at the moment has no a blended MBA. Problem now is: waiting to change working position and then negotiate with the employer the possibility for an on campus MBA, or apply for an MBA in order to obtain that position? If even with an MBA it is not easy to be employed, I'm afraid without an MBA I will be pretty out of the working market...and the time goes on...I need to take a decision.
In the end, have this online/blended format MBA a value for the payed money, lacking on contacts?
