I can't see any reason to take a MBA from a below average university, lacking international accrediation, when world class MBAs from Boston and Illinois are only $20k.

So, if you're talking about the York St. John's Online MBA in partnership with the Robert Kennedy College in Switzerland, that is more than $10k US.

I'd echo Duncan's thoughts but mention that the entry cost for the Illinois program is quite low because you start with the open classes / certifications on Coursera.

An Online MBA from a school without AMBA, EQUIS, or AACSB accreditation is not worth it. It would literally be a waste of money.

Hey, thank you for the replies. Actually i have over 15 years of work experience including that of an entrepreneur. I also hold a PMP certification but the fact is that my current budget allows only 10-12k for MBA. So I am so confused and don't know where to move further as i am currently dor of stuck in a low paying job. I am open to doing some certification as like PMP but again question is what? I am keen on Management (strategy or general)

Maybe try to save a bit more and aim for an MBA from a better school. There is really not any good option at $10000.

Leicester is probably the cheapest decent option, at $18000. But if you are going to spend 18k, really better go for illinois or boston.

As far as non-MBA options go:
-Online MiM may have better pricing
-Graduate Diploma from University of London

Non-Degree options:
-MBA Core curriculum from University of Maryland
-CMI diplomas (not really very well known)

I think you need to clarify your goals.

If you want to transition into companies that tend to recruit MBAs, then you'd be far better off with an in-class, full-time program. These will be more money but the investment will most likely pay off in the long term.

An Online MBA or EMBA in general aren't going to be great choices to management or strategy. These programs are generally for those who are farther along in their careers but want to stay close to what they've been doing.

In any case in terms of MBA programs there's going to be nothing worth the investment at $10k.
