Washington State or Syracuse Online MBA

Hi all,

I have been accepted to both Washington State University and Syracuse University online MBA programs. I am deciding between both programs and would love to hear other peoples opinions.

Here are my pros/cons:

WSU Pros:
- High ranked
- Low tuition costs
- Pacific coast program (I live in pacific)

WSU Cons:
- Program length - will need to complete 7 prereq courses prior to starting program (total length 32 months

Syracuse Pros:
- High ranked
- 2 year program

Syracuse Cons:
- Expensive tuition
- East coast program

Thanks!

Syracuse has the more established brand when it comes to the Online MBA.

If you can open a conversation with the schools, I'd inquire about career support and networking opportunities. The WSU *probably* has a stronger network in your area, but whether you'd be able to effectively leverage it during the program is a good question.

You can also checked LinkedIn - look and see if there's a stronger representation of alum from one of these schools among the firms you''re interested in working for.
