Warwick DL MBA accreditation

Comran

Hello,
I was in search for a good distance MBA program, and I was comparing between Warwick DL MBA and Durham online MBA, after a lot of research and going through topics on your forum, I decided to go with Warwick and filled an application, but later I discovered that Warwick DL MBA is accredited from AMBA only, while Durham Online MBA is triple accredited, so I need your support on the following questions
1 - which is better, AACSB or AMBA ?! and what's the difference between them ? I don't really understand much about the accreditation
2 - Should I choose Durham Online MBA over Warwick DL MBA, because it's triple accredited ?

Appreciate your support
Thanks

You are mistaken. AACSB accredits schools, not programmes, so the DL MBA is also accredited at Warwick.

These accreditations are different: Read their websites or the article in the basics series of this site about accreditation (see the menu bar above to get to articles). Don't choose between courses only on the basis of accreditation.

Indeed, I wouldn't choose an MBA solely on the basis of accreditation - as long as it has one of these top three accreditations, that is.

However, it might be that having a second or third accreditation can be beneficial in some ways. You might, for instance, be able to leverage a wider network with an additional accreditation - through job postings, networking events, etc. that are exclusive to that accreditation network.
