Struggling to find a way to articulate my question so I'm just going to be blunt.
In genuine need of guidance and opinion so please don't treat this as a boast post but I do need to be honest and figures are figures.
Co-founded a social care business 20 years ago. Expanded and then restructured down again last year, to the point where I am the single owner now.
Total remuneration was £200k last year and should be again this (I topped out at £50k in previous years).
I had been considering a L8 Strategic Leadership Diploma until I was steered towards the MBA route or EMBA.
I have come to a crossroads and even though the money is now unbelievable, I have burnt out dping what I am doing.
I am very keen to explore alternatives with consulting or a Leadership role at a larger organisation, top of my ideas.
I would go the online route so I could still keep my business going, onboarding a Registered Manager to take the day to day pressure off of me.
My main worry is that whilst life isn't all about money, I would be unlikely to secure a future role on what I am on now.
Spending £50k upwards on a top 10 business school and taking a pay cut later in life is holding me back from potentially bettering myself.
I am currently left in limbo and require a kick up the backside to move forward one way or another. Any advice or opinions are most welcome.

Address your burnout before you consider an MBA. Work with a coach or counsellor to refocus on long term values and goals. Definitely hire management to support you because business and its service users deserve good leadership.
