HI Everyone,
I am working in FinTech and have technical and project management experience. I am looking to move into a more finance-focused role, and perhaps at some point start my own business.
I am looking at Warwick online MBA, seeing it's presently at the top of the rankings list. I am not sure it has good finance focus.
I have seen in past post that iMBA at Illinois is good option too but that was good few years ago - would it still be a good option?
Alternatively - would getting a general MBA, and MSc in Finance be a better path?
Thanks in advance, so many options out there, hard to pick the right one.

I'd suggest you take a look at this: https://findmbaonline.com/lists/top-10-online-mbas-in-finance
Warwick is included there, as it is a very good choice for an online MBA specialised in Finance. Illinois is still an excellent option, along with the other schools listed there.
In regards to studying an MBA vs a MSc, it depends a lot on your goals, as they focus on different things. An MBA is often for people with more experience and it doesn't delve as deeply into specialised topics as an MSc would. I'd suggest you look at specific programs, employability rates by sector, etc., to get a better idea in regards to your specific goals.

Depending on your goals, it might worth looking at a MiF or just the CFA credential. An MBA is rather generic for your finance focus.
