Does anybody know of any online MBA programs that offer concentrations? I'd like to be able to focus on finance, and I see that many of the programs that are mentioned on this board (Indiana/Kelley, Warwick, Bradford) don't offer much finance-oriented curriculum. The Bradford program only offers one finance course in the core (corporate finance) and one elective module (international financial management.)
I could potentially do Kelley's online MS in Finance, but from what I've read here an MS isn't as respected as an MBA.
Help?

The MBA program search http://www.find-mba.com/search/26dbcd4f/1 has 35 accredited distance learning MBAs in finance. Dallas, Durham, Whitewater and Maryland stand out for me. Check out https://www.dur.ac.uk/business/glc/mba-dl/mba-finance/

UNC's online program is highly-regarded, and offers concentrations in corporate finance and investment management - maybe one of these suit your needs?
There's a finance track in Maryland Smith's program as well. It's a brand new program though, so not much info is available on it yet.

Thank you both for the information. I think I'll focus on getting into the UNC and Durham programs.

How about Warwick as a strong online MBA for finance? Better than Durham or no?

I think it depends on the electives. Warwick only has advanced financial analysis as an on-campus option. An online MiF might be better.

I understand and I will think about an online MIF. However, from what I see I haven't seen a lot of the top business schools that offer these kinds of programs. That's why I was gravitating towards the MBA instead. But I will look into it.

Kelley was mentioned above. Harvard's MLA in. finance and the Cass global MSc are great options, as is the Columbia masters in operations and finance. Georgetown, BU, Johns Hopkins, Penn State and Michigan Dearborn have well designed programmes.

IE's got a Global Master in Finance on offer as well. It's a blended program though.
