Online MBA/ Distance learning MBA

Hello guys,

Maybe someone can share his/her experience in studying Warwick distance learning MBA? Is it really good for its tuition and costs? Unfortunately when you don't have possibility to move to live in another country even for a year to study full time MBA, there is no other choice except to choose the program like this one.

If somebody knows about other online MBA programs like Isenberg Online MBA, Durham Online MBA, Alliance Manchester Global MBA, EuroMBA, Bradford Distance Learning MBA, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Online MBA, would be also nice to hear.

Thank you in advance.

A good place to start would be the Online MBA rankings from the FT.

Warwick is highly ranked there, as is Durham. These tend to be two strong choices for many candidates. The Nebraska-Lincoln program is popular among students looking for a US degree (as is the Illinois program).

Perhaps if you tell us your goals and expectations we could offer you some more substantial advice.

Ok thank you. Yes, I've started from that rating. The goals are to increase the level of education, career progress and maybe to get higher level job. What do you think can online MBA helps in promotion in current job or finding a better job? As I understand full time MBA can helps in career, but not sure about online. Does it really worth ? Thank you

The FT rankings show the excellent progression experienced by graduates from the top MBA programs. However, the career impact of these schools is much stronger in their domestic markets. You should aim for a school with good roots in your part of the world if you want to make the most of careers services.

Typically if you're looking for two ore more big career shifts (like moving to a new country and / or changing industries / functional areas) then a full time MBA would most likely be preferable. An online MBA is more useful for those who want to climb the ladder in their current job, or make smaller career shifts (such as moving from one company to another in the same area).
