Hi All,
I am based in Dubai and planning to start my MBA. After a lot of research I came across the Euro*MBA program (www.euromba.org) Could someone tell me How is the Employer recognition for this program? I mean is it well reputated? Do people actually benefit in terms of jobs and salaries? Many thanks and have a nice one.
Kindest Regards

Hi there,
This MBA seems to be a joint venture of mediocre European B-Schools. I can't tell you much about the job prospects of the candidates, but I think that there are better options in Europe.
Best, JL

Hello JL,
Thanks for the reply. I am a bit confused though; most of the schools in the program seem to be well respected like Audencia, HHL and Maastricht University.... EADA, HHL & Kozminski also have reasonable reputations... Your thoughts?? Cia...Cardinal Dubai

Hi everybody,
The EuroMBA program was ranked 5th in the latest The Economist distance MBA ranking.
I'm surprized that you call this 'mediocre'.
As to the career perspectives, I'm not sure whether there was any research on distance MBA alumni's placement. Of course a decent full-time program is better. But if you can't afford it then a top distant MBA is quite a good alternative.

a bit mean to call it mediocre... audencia (the leading partner) and EADA are quite well respected. The others including HHL and IAE are maybe a weak though.
It isn't to be confused though with a strong brand from a single institution. I bet that the regular full-time students at each school get a better deal in terms of access to the recruitment network.

6 top European universities and business schools internationally accredited does not deserve the word "mediocre". A distance learning programme like the EuroMBA allows international professionals and managers to study from anywhere in the world. The EuroMBA combine distance learning modules with 6 residential weeks. The international network that our participants gain during the EuroMBA programme is very very useful for their professional career! Our alumni association is furthermore very active and we provide continous learning.
