Hi there,
Kindly ask for your input on the below course.
My profile as follow: 38 years with almost 19 years of experience in telecoms industry as Project Manager. Satisfy with the current job but available to have an experience outside Italy (Usa, UK, Canada or Australia). Not well sure to be able to afford an Mba program due to my busy life.
In addition, please let me know if I can have a top-up mba in the future after this diploma.

No, you can't have a top-MBA MBA after that course because it is taught at the undergraduate level (200 and 300), not at the masters level (400 and 500).

Duncan, thanks for you usual great reply.
Any advice for some intermediary course, allowing to attend a top-up mba in future?
Can you suggest this course according to my profile?

I can't recommend the top-up degrees, since none have international accreditation.

Hi all,
Sorry for replying to this old post but I find it related to my case. I have just achieved only business diploma because I failed in one MBA core modules twice. What universities in UK could provide on-line top-up MBA?
I have enjoyed my MBA studying during the last two years passing 13 modules and the management project and all what I’m looking for now is MBA award instead of business diploma.
Thanks

Most of the former polytechnic schools will do that. Google top up MBA

My University said: we are accredated and cannot do top-up
Should I search for business schools outside league table ranked MBAs?

Your university is not the one that would provide the top up. You would use your diploma to get into a top up MBA from a UK university.

Try places like Plymouth, Derby and the metropolitan Universities https://www.bing.com/search?q=top+up+mba+site%3A.Ac.uk&qs=n&form=QBRE&pc=U316&sp=-1&pq=top+up+mba+site%3A.ac.uk&sc=0-22&sk=&cvid=D8E1B2C65EEC473FBAD6D52DFFBF1278

Thanks, Duncan
I got the Diploma from University of Bradford. So, I wonder if top-up feature is not provided by any accredated University in UK

I am pretty sure that most UK top up MBAs will accept a PG diploma in management from Bradford.

The universities offering top-up are usually not very high ranked (northampton, plymouth, sunderland, london metropolitan)
Instead try to contact Queen Mary University of London MBA. They have very flexible format and accept prior learning .
from their website:
"If you have an academic or professional qualification which is comparable in level, content and standard (from an awarding body such as the CMI or the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute, for example), this may be recognised and accredited as prior learning.
Where this is the case, you may be exempt from related modules of the Global MBA."
(since your prior learning is from Bradford, they should have no problem with that - but they may only allow you to transfer some modules - maybe only a few)
Anyway, contacting them does not hurt. And please share the info if you do :)

I guess the Open University might be the same but I don't think either would let you skip most of the MBA, unlike a top up MBA.

Derby has no MBA top-up programme. They can only consider some of Bisiness Diploma modules.

They do. They just rebranded it.
Before: top-up MBA

After: MBA with Exemptions

It seems this exemptions is very limited. They will not consider 12 modules of bisiness diploma (I already cleared 13 modules and one Management project in Bradford)
Sunderland accepts top-up considering 12 modules but unfortunatrly they offer only full time programme at only 5 cities I do not have access to them!

MBA at Bradford is great at all offerred modules, provided materials, interactive sessions and full support through each module.
However, I can find some shortage in only one assessment per module while other business schools have a project for every module in addition to the main assessment (report or exam).
Generally, it is a great experience with an added value to your career.

Hello,
I’m trying to pick one MBA top-up programme out of three:
- Plymouth
- London MetroPolitan
- Northampton
They are in this order as price (about 5.5K, 4.5 then 3.5).
Both Plymouth and Northampton have one module + research while London MetroPolitan has only a dissertation
Could you please help me to choose one?
