I think Minnesota State is the cheapest I have seen, at $11,000.

My goals are as follows:

- to have an accredited MBA which I can include on my resume
- to gain leadership skills and a better understanding of management
- to have an alumni network that may help lead to better jobs

I have worked in food service and retail but I would like to get out to be honest.

I think you need to focus on some more precise goals, what you've stated above is quite generic. What level of work experience do you have now? What kind of role do you want to do? What sectors are you interested in and what country might you want to work in? Those are good starting points to think about specific goals.

Consider: do you need a specialized MBA? If you already have experience in the healthcare sector, you may not need any more specialized knowledge, but just the general management skills that a general MBA would provide.

In terms of what kind of degree you should choose: look at the kinds of roles you are looking to move into, at the firms that you are interested in, and see if any managers in those organizations do have MBAs, and if so, where they studied. This would give you some information about the kinds of degrees that are valued.

Late reply. iBSS is a scam. It has no accrediting support. MMU and the Amity/OU degrees seem to be the cheapest options.
