Hi There
Can i know is anyone here know about Ashridge Masters in Management distance learning program? I would really appreciate if you could share your experience or can give me any advice
I am looking for a distance learning MBA/Masters which could top up my academic qualification ( CV booster) as well as to improve my soft skills.
Why distance learning? because of my job i had been working abroad since the last five years or so, the longest I stay in the same country was about 2 and a half year and the shortest one was only one year. I can't really commit if i could attend any classes plus i have no idea where will i go for my next assignment. As such, distance learning might be the best option i have, i guess.
I have done some home work, been searching the internet in the past few weeks, so far i have short listed a few programs as follow
1. Ashridge MIM - 15k
2.Uni of Ulster - Masters in International Business - 10K
3. Uni of Bradford - MBA - 13.5K
4. Uni of London Holloway - 10k
my budget max is about 15k pound. Preferences are flexibility, it would be great if the program is blended with mainly online study plus 1 to 2 weeks residencies week ( but so far none I found), assignment base rather than examination.
I know Ashridge is highly rank on the FT for their MBA/EMBA program but not the MIM, in fact the MIM is not rank in any list i think.
would appreciate if anyone could share with me your experience and give me some good advice.
Thanks
Daven

The MIM is a post-experience MSc so there's no ranking for that. I'm an Ashridge alum so I'm slightly familiar with the programme, and quite familiar with the platform. I know on of the authors of this study on the MIM - http://www.ashridge.org.uk/website/content.nsf/w360/2013+Summer+Qualifying+online?opendocument
You will have to compare the soft skills element carefully. You might be better off on an executive education programme, like this six-week programme at AIM http://excell.aim.edu/open-enrollment-programs/business-executive-education/management-development-program
