Hi! I've been looking into the IE Online MBA program. I'm primarily interested in pivoting into consulting. I have a few years of experience in marketing but I'm not satisfied with my job and I've hit a bit of a rut. I'm not originally from Europe but have a EU passport. Would this program open up doors internationally within Europe? Thanks!

IE does have a strong brand in Europe, particularly in Spain and parts of Western Europe. Their Online MBA is well-regarded and they’re known for having a international student body. That said, pivoting into consulting can be more challenging (especially top-tier firms) with an online format compared to full-time programs, since firms often prioritise on-campus recruiting.
That being said, if you're targeting boutique or mid-sized consultancies, especially in marketing/digital strategy where your background adds value, the IE brand plus your EU work eligibility can certainly open doors. Just try to be proactive with networking.

Language skills matter for consulting. Don't think of Europe as one labour market, or of IE as a route into more than central Spain. Focus more realistically on where marketing consulting is growing, and focus on shortage skills in the markets where you can speak the language. Make the transition that way.
