online schools

Does anyone know of any accredited online b schools? ive been looking but getting different feedback about specific schools and if they are accredited. Also, i am not sure about their reputation so i was curious if anyone that had any information on that as well. Any recommendations, advice, or just information in general will be great. thanks

The best ones are:

Florida (Warrington)
IE
Warwick
Curtin
Audencia (Nantes)
Henley
Thunderbird
Manchester
Open University
Bradford

At least that's what the Economist thinks.

Check out Stevens-Henager College. They have an online MBA program that might be what you are looking for. And don?t worry about accreditation, the college is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). The ACCSCT is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education.

I'd think twice before enrolling into ANY MBA that's online.

And not just for accreditation issues, but because the quality of the program, chance for interaction, participation, and hands-on as well as team learning drops off the chart.

If you want an MBA just so you can say you have one, no difference, but if you're interested in making a serious investment, I'd opt for traditional, or at least part-time, programs.

Yes, you should definitely look closely at the distance learning programs, because there are a lot out there that are not good.

Accreditation is important, as is, I hate to say it, the brand name. And don't fall for the cheap schools that offer you an MBA for next to nothing. If you want to get a good MBA, online or not, you'll probably end up paying for it.

A few good programs have been mentioned in this thread, Florida/Warrington, Manchester, Thunderbird, in particular.

I'd add to that these: Warwick (simply because it's one of the oldest,) WPI, and ASU Carey.

Online programs are an attractive option for working professionals. If you are considering an online MBA, you may want to consider an Executive MBA program. Most Exevutive programs offer convenient schedules which are condusive to working professionals. Most of the top business schools offer Executive MBA programs, and the credential is the same as their full time programs.

If you are set on an online degree program, think about the University of Phoenix and Colorado Tech.

I'm not sure if you've checked out Open University but you should give it some research if you're interested in Distance Studies. It is triple accredited and has been voted among the top 5 UK Universities for the quality of it's teaching.

If it would be a good program they would not need to spam around in student message boards.
